An eco-friendly hat made from light weight felted plastic. The felt is all from recycled plastic soda bottles! If you can’t understand how, check this out: more about

If only Gatsby had bought this perfectly crafted ivy cap for Daisy Buchanan — she would have definitely gone for him. He would have had all the respectability he deeply desired. People would look up to him, as a recycled man! But alas, fate is not so kind to him or us.
The cap comes in two stlyes: with a flipped up brim attached by a button and with a straight brim and no button. On the Gatsby version the handmade ceramic button, made in England like the hat itself, adorns the scally cap look. Both versions have linings of hand printed cotton, organically grown.
It took many plastic bottles to recycle into the exterior of this hat: approximately eight. Those bottles never even got to the landfill. They were used to make this dark grey hat.
The hat designed by Jan Townsend was crafted in England under her supervision. She found home based skilled craftswomen to do this hat forming.
