You know the little lies that only your hairdresser (I mean hatmaker) knows for sure? This is the truth: The purple and fusia accents are hand-dyed silk that was hand felted directly in as this Shear Essence Alpaca hat. The fleece was made from batts of 75% huacaya alpaca & 25% wool.
All trim around the brim is hand-dyed batik cotton fabric. Stiffener was used on the inside of the hat, so the outside remains “alpaca fine” to the touch!!!
The head size is midway between medium and large: at 22.5" inches.
