This classic bowler-brimmed hat was handmade on our farm from the fleece of a beautiful fawn-colored male alpaca who resides in Minnesota. It has subtle pieces of gold thread felted into the hat. The trim jumps out at you just a bit and then your eyes relax on that beautiful fawn color.
This is a hat to be worn strolling down Park Avenue on a beautiful sun-dripped afternoon. All Shear Essence hats are hand-felted on hatshapers from batts of 75% alpaca & 25% wool. The inside of the hat is slightly stiffened and the outside is as soft to the touch as a blanketful of freshly shorn alpaca fleece.
