This adorable grey blue felt hat was made in the 1930s, and it still has a lot of life left! It has a topstitched brim and a grey veil with navy blue bows. A large felt bow rests at the back of the hat. Label reads “Sally Victor 18 East 53rd St.”
Highly collectible, and is a marvelous example of Schiaparelli’s influence on fashions of the war years. we still call this style a “Doll’s Hat” because of her innovative styles.
