Inspired by New York in the fall, this red flat cap with a slightly brown hue is a classic addition to any worldly gentlemans’ wardrobe.
The story of this Ivy cap begins on the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, where a community of weavers produces the extra light weight wool used to make the tweed. Within their cottages you will find bicycle-powered looms on which they create limited amounts of each color.
This Harris Tweed Wool is then sent to our workshop in Brooklyn, New York and carefully crafted into a batch of exquisite caps that can be worn in a variety of ways.
As a final touch, we carefully sew a bronze snap on the front of the cap, allowing you to wear it both open and snapped shut and ensure the soft lambs’ skin lining over the forehead and quilted polyester under the wool provide the ultimate sensation of comfort.
The hat size will stretch slightly with wear. Sizes are:
Medium (7, 22”, 56 cm)
Large (7 ¼, 22 5/8, 58 cm)
Extra Large (7 ½, 23 1/2”, 60 cm) – out of stock
