Large 7" wide brim blocks out the sun with a double layer of fine woven raffia. The brim is soft and flexible and shapeable.

This hat is crushable and packable. Great for travel. It is made of palm leaves, similar to what is in a panama hat. (The construction is different).

The outside is natural straw color and the inside is hot pink.

Please measure your head around with a tape measure (or a string and then measure the string). Let us know — in the Notes area in the checkout process — how many inches or cm your head is around. We measure each hat before shipping to make sure the one we individually pick for you will fit you properly.

We now our Madagascar raffia hats now with even more folds (ruffles) than before. You can see in the video just how many there are: more than 20. The extra folds give the hat a more appealing look than you will find in other hats from Madagascar.
